Exams for four grades at Klipspruit West Secondary School in Johannesburg have resumed. This after disruptions yesterday, when some residents halted learning & teaching and barred the majority of black teachers from entering the premises. Eleven black teachers staged a walk-out in solidarity, dismissing allegations of assault as a ploy to get rid of them. The facility has previously been dogged by racial tensions after coloured parents refused to have a black principal head the institution.
