In the southeast region of Poland, in the small town of Nowe Sioło, there is a sawmill company owned by Mr. Adam Marciniszyn. Since 1998, the company has supplied local customers with high-quality construction timber and sawmilling services. A few years ago, the Marciniszyn Sawmill began working with Wood-Mizer, modernizing the facility with modern machines and equipment. The sawmill now operates with as many as seven Wood-Mizer machines, the newest of which is the LX250 sawmill, used for processing large-diameter logs, up to 140 cm.
The LX250 sawmill is part of the LX series, featuring a low-positioned bed that allows for effortless loading of large and heavy logs. The 32-35 mm wide blades significantly reduce the machine's operating costs. Operating the sawmill is intuitive and straightforward. The control panel is designed with clearly arranged buttons and switches, and a unique automatic height adjustment device (Setworks) simplifies operation, ensures accuracy, and boosts work efficiency. You enter the desired dimension into the computer's memory, and the sawhead automatically adjusts to the correct height before the next cut. The forward/backward and up/down movement of the sawhead is electric and controlled via a joystick. During the cutting process, the operator has complete control—following the sawhead and clearly seeing the blade working in the wood. Additionally, an ammeter on the electrical box in front of the operator shows the current load on the motor.
Thanks to the ability to saw logs with a maximum diameter of 1.4 meters, the sawmill can offer customers unique products, such as tabletops for large tables, wide boards, and massive slabs, which can be further processed into boards showcasing original patterns and grain.
