On Monday 17 May at 5pm BST, we were be joined by our next guest in our Hidden Narratives series, Dr Francesca Sobande, for session 3. A lecturer at Cardiff University, and with work focusing on experiences of Black women is Britain, digital remix culture, brand ‘woke-washing’, Black diaspora and popular culture and power, Dr Francesca explored issues related to representation in the media for people with African and Caribbean backgrounds, along with understanding the nuances of Black British experiences.
