Sanji has gone through lifetimes worth of struggle, but also joy in his 21 years. He’s had to confront his uncomfortable, abusive past head on, both by having to reunite with his family, and having to live with slowly taking on their attributes, but he overcame all of it, and proved, that by meeting Zeff and the Straw Hats, he forged his own path, and was different from the Vinsmokes. He was called a failure by his father, but in reality, he was really the greatest success of his mother, being born the opposite of his brothers, which may have caused him have a miserable and torturous childhood, but in the end, he stayed true to the boy his mother was proud of, never losing his kindness. So, in conclusion, Sanji is one of the best examples in one piece that you should always stay true to yourself. No matter what he went through, the beatings, the torture, starvation, heartbreak, Sanji never broke his principles that Zeff taught him, and never lost the kindness that his mother sacrificed her life to give him.
