This sandwich is one of my favourite recipes. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
4 White fish fillets Cod,flake,whiting etc (roughly the same size as the brioche buns)
4 Brioche buns
White flour
Cooking oil
Salt
Iceberg Lettuce
For the tartare sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 small pickles, finely chopped
½ shallot, finely chopped
1 tbsp capers, roughly chopped
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp roughly chopped dill
Salt and pepper
For the beer batter:
1 cup plain flour
1/3 cup rice flour or corn flour, tapioca flour
2 tsp baking powder
300ml beer
Pinch of salt
