Aatu kaal Paya
Preparation Time : 1 hr
Serves : 2 Members
Ingredients:
- Onion - 1 nos
-Tomato - 1 nos
-Green Chilly - 2 nos
-Goat Leg
-Turmeric Powder as required
-Coconut - 10 slices
-Cashew -4 nos
-fennel/ Sombu Seeds - 1 tsp
-Oil - 3 TSP
-Curry Leaves as required
-Biriyani Spices as required
-Red Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
-Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
-Salt as per taste
-Water as required
Note: For topping can add boiled black Chana and chopped onion.
Method:
1. Clean Goat Leg
-Take a bowl add goat leg and add warm water to it.
-scratch and take off the black on the leg with the help of knife.
-then add turmeric mix well and wash again.
2.Cook Goat Leg
-Add leg, salt, turmeric powder, ginger and garlic paste, a cup of water and close the cooker lid
-Boil on medium heat for 20 mins
3.To Grinded
- Take a mixer jar and add Coconut, green chilly, cashew and fennel seeds.
- Grind them well to a fine paste
4. To Cook
- Take a pan and add 3 TSP oil
- Then add biriyani spices, curry leaves and onion
- fry on medium heat and add ginger garlic paste.
- Add tomato and salt as per taste.
- Add chilly powder and 1 cup water
- Let it boil for 3 mins on medium heat
- Now add the boiled goat leg to the pan and let it boil for 4 mins on medium heat.
- Now add the grinded coconut paste and mix well
- let it boil for 3 mins
- Add pepper powder and Coriander leaves at-last.
- And now you are ready to go
-Serve it immediately with idly/ Dosa/ appam and enjoy your spicy goat leg curry at 🏡
