With food scarcity being a persistent issue in the region, three different nutritious dishes were prepared and served to hundreds of starving children and families. The overwhelming turnout showed the dire need for consistent support.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbor to his side is hungry."
