In this video, I will try to briefly explain about the nutrients requirement of rice crop at booting stage. Booting stage is very critical stage in Paddy field as rice plant needs a lot of nutrients especially Potash and boron at this stage. Potash is for grains weight, disease resistance etc. Boron is needed for successful pollination. It increases the viability of pollens that increases pollination in rice crop.
Fungicide such as Nativo, amistar top, score, novice ultra etc are very important at this stage as brown Leaf Spot diseases and other fungal diseases may damage flag leaf from which rice panicle gets food energy or nutrients.
Foliar spray of potash can be mixed with boron and fungicide.
In September, leaf folder also attack on fields so farmers are advised to mix insecticides such Coragen, Bifenthrin or Lamda cyhalothrin with potassium such as Katalyat etc.
