In today's video we will be getting into values. We will begin building the structures of the face in a monochromatic underpainting. My goal is to bring you closer to the art process with each video. This is why you will see more footage than ever before with these daily updates. That being said, we will focus only on the eyes with today's video. Tomorrow we tackle on the larger structures of the face.

The materials used in this video are listed below,
Panel: 12x12” Mdf panel gessoed with Liquiex Professional Acrylic Gesso (2 coats) and toned with a mixture of gesso and burnt umber acrylic paint.
Oil Paints:
Windsor & Newton- Titanium White
Windsor & Newton- Burnt Umber
Thinner/Brush Cleaner: Chelsea Classical Studio Citrus Essence
(This is what I am using instead of odorless mineral spirits. The reason is that it tends to allow my paints to dry faster.)
Brushes Used:
Princeton Summit 2 Round 6100R
Master's Touch size 1 round
Princeton Select 2 Fan brush
