फिक्स डिपोजिट निश्चित अवधिका लागि बैंकमा जम्मा गरिने रकम हो । यसरी संकलन गरिएको रकम बैंकहरुले लगानीका क्षेत्रमा प्रयोग गर्छन् र बचतको समयावधि सक्किएपछि बचत गरिएको रकम तोकिएको व्याजसहित फिर्ता गर्दछन् । फिक्स डिपोजिटमा अन्य बचतको तुलनामा बढी व्याज प्राप्त हुन्छ । फिक्स डिपोजिट गरिएको रकम निर्धा्रित अवधि नसकिँदासम्म चलाउन पाइँदैन । समय अवधि पहिले नेकलना परे बैंक ले केहि चार्ज लिने गर्दछ
किन गर्ने फिक्स डिपोजिट ?
तपाईँसँग पैसा छ , तर कतै लगानी गर्ने उपयुक्त ठाउँ भेट्नुभएको छैन भने बैंकमा फिक्स डिपोजिट गर्नु राम्रो हुन्छ । अरु खाताको तुलनामा बढी व्याज पाइने भएकाले केही नगरी रकम बढीरहेको हुन्छ । यदि, तीन महिनासम्म कतै लगानी गर्ने ठाउँ छैन भने तीन महिने मुद्दति खाता खोल्नु उपयुक्त हुन्छ । यसो गर्दा, तीन महिनासम्म उक्त रकम सुरक्षित बस्ने मात्र नभएर साथमा व्याज समेत प्राप्त हुन्छ ।
