Poland will hold a runoff election on July 12, when President Andrzej Duda will face off against Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski. The Polish elections will be a referendum on Duda's current term in office, where he has governed with the support of the Law and Justice right-wing populist party. The elections in Poland will shape the future of Poland's relations with the EU and the United States.
Carnegie's Judy Dempsey offers here quick reaction to Poland's elections in 2020.
