In a major win for Scott Morrison the NSW Court of Appeal has just ruled in favour of the Prime Minister in a pre-selection court stoush between the state Liberal Party branch and the federal government.
Matthew Camenzuli, a member of the NSW Liberal state executive, brought the case in an attempt to rule Mr Morrison’s federal intervention into the party’s pre-selection woes invalid.
This is a win for both the Prime Minister and the federal government, meaning the last hurdle before the election can be called has been cleared.
