This is a review of the YI Handheld Gimbal (3-axis gimbal) made for the YI 4k+ and YI 4K action cams.
I compare using the Gimbal to not using the Gimbal when:
Walking
Biking
Driving
I believe this is most effective when you are simply walking and holding it with hands. The footage taken on the bike does shows improvement as well, especially if you do not want your recording to lean when you turn (or just simply adjust your handlebars). For driving, I do not see much improvement as cars are already very stable. The gimbal does not protect against quick (jarring) bumps which is what you really need for recording smooth automobile videos. I saw a review of the DJI z-axis, which I think would be perfect for avoiding jarring bumps in the road (more $$$, yeah!!!).
