There's something just a shade too ironic or meta about this book - which concerns itself with the overabundance of books being published in the modern world. Although Zaid sometimes offers enlightenment through his ideas about books and publishing, I did come out at the end wondering why I hadn't just read something else instead - which I almost feel was Zaid's point all along.
