I just reviewed the YouTube analytics dashboard for this video since I posted it over 9 years ago. There was a period of very high growth throughout 2017.

Otherwise, there doesn't really seem to be any seasonality to the viewer trend to imply change in weather issues as I mentioned in one of my comments (just at a glance, no real science...I'll do that for the 18 year update maybe...)

A funny and true story about the car in this video if you're bored (this is copied from a comment response, but putting here for visibility):

Actually I totally forgot about this: That mazda3 ended up having something in the coolant system degrade to the point it was absolutely spewing the stuff. I took it to some gas station mechanic around the corner and I'm 90% sure he took an angle grinder to some metal nozzle lookin' thing and replaced it with a rubber hose. "That's how they shoulda done it in the first place," he said. I rolled my eyes at the bill.

I have no idea if this was in anyway related to this problem in retrospect [...]. I drove that car till it was pretty much dead from city living mid-last decade (roughly three years after the posting of this video)...good times.
