Overlooking the country of Wales, the Wirral Country Park was the first designated country park in Britain, opening in 1973. I used to go there as a child and meeting an old friend there for a little stroll and unwind was the perfect reminder of the beauty I used to enjoy. Now I lay about more than I run around, but 'being still' in such a place is no less enjoyable! It is still a place well worth visiting if you are on the peninsular! I hope you enjoy it!
