Church of Santa Maria de Belem symbolise the Portuguese Age of Discovery and are among the main tourist attractions of Lisbon. In 1983, UNESCO formally designated the Monastery of the Hieronymites and Tower of Belém as a World Heritage Site . The church is known because of the tombs of Vasco da Gama, Luís de Camões and the king Manuel I and his wife Maria of Aragon, while the tombs on the right side belong to King João III and his wife Queen Catherine of Austria. Also because of the pillars and celling of the church was designed ornate Manueline. Absolutely amazing!
