The Roehampton Master of Arts in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy programme is an intensive double major programme that is based on a rich understanding of the complexities of human behaviour. It offers a deep insight into why we think and act the way we do, and how to empower people to act differently.
This programme offers
Over 580 hours of face-to-face interaction: 318 hours of face-to-face teaching and practical + 200 hours of supervised counselling + 70 hours of personal therapy sessions.
Incorporates a field placement of 200 practicum hours with clients under qualified supervision
The programme is delivered by academics and practitioners that are leading experts in their field, taught by means of interactive lectures and seminars, experiential skills workshops, small clinical supervision groups, and personal development work. Much of your learning will be by a process of reflection on the experience of skills practiced and the use of demonstration, observation, self, peer and tutor feedback as well as a more traditional academic study.
