Actor Zafor Iqbal was a famous actor and singer in Bangla Cinema. After the Bangladesh Liberation War, Jafor Iqbal started acting regularly from the mid-1970's. He acted in films including Shurjo Shongram, it's sequel Shurjo Shadhin, Mastan and Noyoner Alo . He co-starred with actress Bobita in more than 30 films.
In the mid-1980's, Iqbal released a solo album.
