Meru Senator Mithika Linturi will spend the night in police custody after he was arrested over alleged hate speech remarks at a Rally in Eldoret on Saturday. Linturi who has recorded a statement with the National Cohesion and Integration Commission at Gigiri Police Station has been transferred to Nakuru where he is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
