During a traffic jam you can see most vehicles making room for passing motorcycles (luckily very common). In the distance you can see the transit van moving to the right. As overtaking on the right is illegal in the Netherlands (and lane splitting isn't) I didn't expect him to directly come to the left again with me about 8 meters behind him.
This footage was also sent to the insurance companies and they ruled in my favor. Unfortunatly, due to multiple pannels being damaged as well as mirrors and handlebars, the motorcycles was declared economicaly total loss (repair cost more than 2/3 of the current value).
