Walking Inside Nan Tien Temple complex is one of the must do's when visiting this temple complex. The surroundings is very peaceful and relaxing. It has beautiful landscaped gardens, inviting lotus pond, and glorious green hills. The complex overlooks Mt. Keira and Mt. Kembla in Wollongong. It is for this reason that the founder of this organisation chose this site because Mt. Kembla looks like a resting lion believed to be a lucky sign.
The Nan Tien Temple Complex features amazing architecture of the pagodas; art and culture festivals; conference and auditorium facilities; pilgrim accommodation; and meditation classes and retreats.
The Nan Tien Temple Complex is one of the biggest Buddhist temples in the Southern Hemisphere. It is located in Berkeley, just outside of Wollongong City, a 11/2 hour drive from Sydney, Australia. It is one of the major tourist attractions of the city.
