Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, cooler than a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce, Piper the Aviation Bird Dog was always ready for duty. Alongside his handler Brian Edwards, the dynamic duo protected the planes at Cherry Capital Airport from bird strikes. Birds can pose a huge threat to flight safety, but when they saw Piper on his way, geese, ducks and gulls fled the runways. This an important job always has its share of fun.

R.I.P to K-9 Piper (also known as Piper the Aviation Bird Dog) who passed away in 2018. 🥹💔
