Israeli soldiers fired tear gas at Lebanese demonstrators who had gathered in the bordering village of Kfarchouba to protest the bulldozing of their lands.
The tension in Kfarchouba began earlier this week over the Israeli military digging in territory claimed by Lebanon.
Last week, a Lebanese farmer stood in front of an Israeli bulldozer in an attempt to stop it from digging a trench along the border.
The villager's legs were covered in soil and the bulldozer continued moving ahead before UN peacekeepers jumped in and convinced the driver to retreat.
Israel ended an 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon when its troops withdrew from the area in May 2000.
