This tutorial covers performing a cable stitch where 1 stitch crosses to the right over two stitches. I demonstrate using different cable needle types as well as cabling without a cable needle.

➡️1-2 RC instructions with a cable needle:
Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in back, k1 from left needle, k2 from cable needle
➡️1-2 RC without a cable needle:
Slip right needle tip through the 3rd st on the left needle tip from the front of the work
Slide sts to the edge of the left needle tip and pinch the 3 sts
Remove left needle tip from the 3 sts
Insert left needle tip into the 2 sts that aren’t secure
Slide st from right needle back onto the left needle
Knit 3
