Kenta is originally from Sapporo, Japan. After graduating from NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in 2010, he worked at Germano Studios starting as an assistant engineer for projects such as Lady Gaga and Kanye West. In 2015, Kenta was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year for Pharrell Williams' "GIRL."
