15th January 2015 was the first ever, National Pothole Day. The day was set up in order to raise awareness to the government about the serious conditions are roads our in- Meon wanted to help.
When West Sussex County and Balfour Beatty council heard about the day they were determined to help raise awareness. So we teamed up with them filled in some of the peskiest potholes in West Sussex.
This interview is of West Sussex Council’s Cyclical Maintenance Manager, Richard Speller who is really keen on tackling potholes in the UK.
