This week I sat down and interviewed Jason Markk, creator of Jason Markk the premium shoe care brand. Jason grew up in the South Bay of Southern California playing basketball, loving the Los Angeles Lakers and djing. Once entering high school he tried out for the basketball team twice and never made it. Now turning his focus to DJing he would play house parties and events. Jason always held a job that never seemed to pay as much as DJing but he knew he had to keep both. Once graduating and taking an internship he landed a real job as a floating in the company. Still having ideas and love for sneakers he realized the void in the shoe cleaning market & decided to create his own product.
