Just slapped it on the old Beemer to test it in real life. It works just fine.
The circuit is placed in the tool box on top of the tank. The Horn had to leave its premises in order to bolt the CDI ignition coil in a suitable place.
The horn wires obscures the view of the ignition coil somewhat.
Next step is using a small ferrite core transformer instead of two bulky iron core transformers. This should allow the size to be reduced significantly so the the unit can be placed under the petrol tank.
