The Yardbirds were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 by The Edge of U2. The ceremony occurred on January 21, 1992, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. This All-Star jam includes Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, John Fogerty, Santana, Edge, Johnny Cash, Noel Redding, Mitch Mitchell and many more.

Inductees for this year included Bobby Bland, Booker T. and the MG's, Johnny Cash, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Isley Brothers, Sam and Dave, the Yardbirds, Elmore James, Professor Longhair, Leo Fender, Bill Graham and Doc Pomus.
