When power is put into traditional cables, heat rises in the bundle, causing the cables to degrade over time. The GenSPEED® cables’ LP listing means that they have been tested up to certain wattages to ensure a lack of heat rise. The Cat 6A cable’s smaller 0.250-inch OD improves cable fill capacity by up to 44 percent, lowering overall costs, and is lighter and easier to terminate – all ensuring a more efficient installation.
