Hi Lovelies! Today we’re swatching & comparing oil paints & oil sticks. After careful research these are the brands I’ve decided to go with & the reasons.. .
I love the Schmincke Mussini for the resin base & translucent colors,
The Charvin for their color range & poppy oil base that doesn’t yellow over time
The R&F Oil Sticks because they are just beautiful to work with, a piece of art in themselves!
& the Sennelier Oil Sticks because they are creamy & also lovely to work with!
If you have any recommendations we would love to hear about it! {especially for brushes, brush cleaner, oil additives like to speed up dry time & what you glaze the canvas with to gloss it etc}
