Ethiopian Airlines Flight 729 from Manchester Airport (England, UK) to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) via Brussels (Belgium). The aircraft is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (reg: ET-AUO and named Beijing) is 1.6 years old abd has been operating for Ethiopian Airlines since 2017.
The flight had to fly to Birmingham Airport (England, UK) for a fuel stop as a power failure at Manchester & unable to refuel aircraft. Most aircraft that departed Manchester flown to Birmingham, London Heathrow & Liverpool to refuel before carrying on the flight.
