When the weather is nice and warm, why not take a boat ride across one of the Swiss lakes? Last July we took a steamboat trip from Neuchatel, across Neuchatel lake and the Broye canal to the medieval town of Murten / Morat. We explored this beautiful place, had some ice cream and even took a dip in the Murten lake. Afterwards we cycled back to Neuchatel through the Swiss countryside. This was a great day trip and we would definitely recommend it to anyone!
