Thermal Hog Hunt with AEA Challenger Bullpup .457 with new power kit which gives ~700 ft-lbs of energy. I am using MrHollowpoint 355g HP slugs. These were getting 675 ft lbs of energy in my gun. I found the Challenger to be very high quality for the price. I used a DonnyFL Emperor moderator so most of the noise you hear on the video is from the spring. The rifle is very accurate at the ranges I hunt at (which is typically 50 yds or less). I purposely took the hog in the shoulder (rather than neck (CNS)) to get an impression for knock down capability of the rifle. Even in the high shoulder the animal dropped instantly and was dispatched within a few seconds. The scope is a Pulsar Thermion 2 XP50.
