The World Health Organization (WHO) held a briefing on the latest worldwide developments of the coronavirus outbreak.
WHO officials warned young people Friday that although they’re less likely to die from the novel coronavirus, they are still at risk of severe illness.
“You’re not invincible,” said WHO director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at a press conference on COVID-19.
Ghebreyesus began the virtual conference by stating it was the first time that Wuhan has not reported any new cases of coronavirus since the outbreak started there, saying the city "provides hope for the rest of the world that even the most severe situation can be turned around."
