In a petition filled in Court lawyer Benjamin Nyamu argues that Sonko should be removed from office for gross misconduct and mishandling county affairs including the recent Matatu Ban from the Central Business District. The lawyer is also accusing the governor of verbally assaulting an MCA, Recording private phone calls and refusing to nominate a Deputy Governor. The petitioner also wants Sonko removed for allegedly engaging in sideshows and failing to deliver on his promises to Nairobi residents. The lawyer wants Court to bar Governor Sonko from transacting any county business until the case is heard and determined.
