This webinar by Dr Ahmad Salahuddin from UPM is on Microcredentials. Micro-credentials are a new way of certification of learning of a smaller set of courses or modules which are designed to provide learners with competencies in a narrow area of study. The decision to engage with these new forms of credentials will be influenced by many factors, including our readiness and strategy. To make sure that we are taking the right approach, this webinar will help the participants to understand the reason why micro-credentialism should be a mission for higher education, what is micro-credential as defined by MQA, what are the best practices, and how to strategically plan for its implementation. The webinar is also intended to be a platform where participants exchange ideas, share experiences, and ask questions.
