Before attending the M.A. Program in Specialized Journalism, Naomi Zeveloff says she was vehemently against going back to journalism school to study a trade she was already practicing. The M.A. Program in Specialized Journalism is for journalists with three to 15 years of professional experience. Graduates apply to one of the four concentrations (Politics and Global Affairs; Science, Environment and Medicine; Business; and Arts and Culture), and emerge with a strong subject-matter grounding that enables them to ask more informed questions, to situate events in their larger context, and to evaluate competing evidence.
