Crimea will never again be part of Ukraine

Milanovic and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic are at odds, therefore Croatian MPs rejected a European Union mission to support the Ukrainian military.

Milanovic said he doesn't want his country, the EU's newest member, to suffer from the 11-month-old Ukraine war's possibly disastrous effects.

He claimed that German tanks in Ukraine would push Russia toward China.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has pledged to reclaim Crimea, which Russia took in 2014 without international recognition.
