Repair of a meniscocapsular junction tear with the Novostitich Plus. This revolutionary device allows for anatomic repair of meniscus tears with a minimally invasive technique. Repairs can result in an anatomic repair of the meniscus and a significant reduction in your risk of arthritis. Not all repairs are the same. If your surgeon trimmed your meniscus then a part of the cushion was actually amputated. Sometimes the tissue is so destroyed it cannot be repaired and must be removed, but this places you at a higher risk of arthritis.
