The Sebile Magic Swimmer is, in my opinion, the best lure for catching stripers during the spring run.

There's a lot of different lures a surfcaster to choose from, not to mention the countless array of colors they all come in! It can be long and expensive process to find a lure that works very well in a variety of situations. Go-to lures are few and far between, but the Sebile Magic Swimmer is a great lure when menhaden (bunker, pogies) or herring are in the bait mix.
