Their passion and hard work have led to the preservation of thousands of acres of conservation land. But it's also a constant battle, facing challenges from various sources. Burnout is a real concern in this line of work, given the uphill battles we often face. So it's essential to find moments to rejuvenate, whether it's going on a kayak trip or simply taking a walk by the river.

Ultimately, it's about practicing patience and maintaining a high-level appreciation for the importance of our work. We're not just fighting for ourselves; we're advocating for the voiceless natural resources that rely on us for protection.
