The easiest way is to use a kit with a ratchet tensioning system. It allows you to set up a line in 5 minutes. Look for 2 trees between 5 and 10 m, set up the line with a loop loop about 50 cm high to start. Place the ratchet with the lever face down, thread the webbing in, and first tension by hand and then start tensioning with the ratchet until minimum tension is reached. To test tension put the weight in the middle of the line and make sure you don't touch the ground.
