Ingredients of Bengali Style Phulko Luchi Recipe :
Maida or Refined Flour (250 gm).
Sugar.
Refined Oil.
Method of Luchi Making or Puri Making Recipe :
1 -Take 250 gm Maida or all purpose flour or whole wheat flour in a bowl.
2 –Add 1 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp refined oil. Mix it very well.
3 -When mixed properly, we will add water slowly slowly and mix it up with flour. Just make a hard dough.
4 –Now we are ready for fry the luchi. Just make roll the dough in many pieces into flat circular shape. Dip the circular shape dough piece into refined oil and then press the dough on rolling board by using the roller and make a nice flat circular shape.
5 –Now heat some refined oil on a frying pan for deep fry the luchi.
6 –Add the circular shape luchi or puri when the oil is hot.
7 –Now press the puri with light pressure using a skimmer. That will help the luchi or puri to puff quickly.
8 –Fry the lndian flatbread both side till it becomes brown colour.
Now ready your recipe of Luchi or puffed bread or puri. You can serve this with Aloo dum or cholar dal or chicken kasha or any type of chcken or mutton curry.
