We live in a connected world. Even the planet itself shows us that many seemingly unrelated things are depending on each other. In this video compiled of about 550 images of NOAA GOES-16 satellite from June 23-27 2020 two large dust clouds from the Saharan desert can be seen crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The first one has already reached the Caribbean. Those grains of dust originating from a barren landscape are a vital source of nutrients for the Amazon rainforest in South America, one of the most diverse and important ecosystems on Earth.
