During my time travelling around South East Asia, Indonesia has been one of my favourite countries that I've visited. I first came to Kuta, Lombok last year and ended up staying for 5 weeks ~ now I'm returning for another 3 weeks to learn to surf more and see some friends I met last time!

Most people travel to Kuta for the sole reason of surfing. There are so many surf spots along the south coast of the island, for anywhere between beginner to professional. Lombok has some of the most beautiful beaches, such as Tanjung Aan which are more beautiful than in Bali. There's way less tourists here so everywhere is a lot cheaper and less busy. There are also so many cute restaurants and cafes in the town, once again so much cheaper than Bali. Some of my favourite places are Gratitude for smoothies, Warung Flora for nasi goreng and Satu Lagi Mexican! Overall the vibe is very chill and the perfect place to go relax and surf!

I stayed at Pipes Hostel - I honestly don't have a single bad word to say about this hostel and the people who work there. It's an amazing place and has such a good vibe.
