In response to requests for a Hanuman temple and other places of worship on the Jharkhand Assembly grounds, Chief Minister Hemant Soren declared on Monday that "God is omnipresent." The Soren government has been criticised for allocating a room inside the Assembly for the purpose of offering namaz. Soren responded to the BJP's criticism to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government's intention to give a chamber in the Jharkhand Assembly for conducting namaz by saying that faith and God reside everywhere.
