Korea plans to move one of the local missile batteries in the southern part of the nation to the capital area.
According to the defense chief on Wednesday... by the end of next year, a Patriot missile system, presently in Daegu will be moved and reinstalled in Seoul to upgrade defenses of the city and surrounding areas.
This follows the complete installation of four additional THAAD launchers in Seongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province that places Daegu in its defense range.
Apart from that U.S. missile defense system, Korea has around eight Patriot batteries.
