Lots of people asked me about car and driving (MG) experience in my previous post. In this post, I will jot down my MG Gloster ownership experience. first, I would like to share that before Gloster I had 2 cars. The first was Toyota Camry and the Second was Honda CRV. Both the cars were fantastic, I had them for 6 years. The driving experience was superb, very smooth drive, low maintenance, Comfortable, Luxury and Safe cars. I never had any issues with both the cars.
I needed a bigger SUV. So, my search started with few brands offering 7-seater Luxury SUVs. Since most of the vehicles in this segment provide Luxury, comfort, good handling, safety, and other common features. My main criteria were technical features, panoramic Sunroof, additional technology in safety features such as adaptive cruise control, vehicle stability systems, traction control, brake assist, hill hold control, hill descent control, and antilock brakes.
Gloster satisfied the requirement along with some standout features like
360-degree view, blind-spot monitoring, backup collision warning, cross-traffic alert, and emergency collision-avoidance braking.
After test driving few SUVs, I really liked MG Gloster. It has a plethora of technical features and one thing that stood out was ADAS
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) – ACC, Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning,
All-terrain Systems. EDL (Electromechanical differential lock) was the icing on the cake.
Massager for driver really helps in long drives and I-smart 2.0 – It’s very convenient to control lots of car features from anywhere.
In my trips, the features which really help are – 360 views (very helpful in hilly and narrow roads while parking and coming out of parking), hill descent control, auto hold, blind-spot monitoring, mud terrain control, ACC, and massager.
